The Wilkes County Moonshiners are a Summer Collegiate wood bat baseball team playing in the Mountain Division of the Old North State League. The Moonshiners are entering our third season in 2026 after making big strides under the management of new ownership in '25. Look for more exciting changes and community involvement with regular season Shiner games scheduled from May 28th through a playoff run beginning in late July! Our team will again be led by returning Head Coach Drew Ward and an excellent staff, with a team consisting of collegiate talent from various schools across the country along with recruits from Wilkes and surrounding counties. Home games will return to The Creek, on the campus of West Wilkes High School, in a great setting to enjoy an exciting level of baseball, good food and loads of fun with family and friends! You'll have an opportunity to make the Wilkes County Moonshiners "your team" and look for plenty of team merchandise and fan gear to show your support...Get Your SHINE ON!
